What matters at the end is the space you created. Not the
amount that you put in. It does happen that you spend a lot of money and the
output is not worth it but the reverse case is when people ask you, this must
have cost you well. And you answer: “Nah, it’s less than the decided budget”. And
then you see their jaws dropping out.
It’s all about having a vision. Have a plan and then work
accordingly. It’s not about how expensive the interior is, but how well it is
done. It should strike a chord the moment someone enters it. When you enter a
particular area, it should give you a positive vibe.
Create a space which all would be comfortable in. The hue or
color of the room largely depends on this. It is colors which make the
difference to a room. When these colors are combined with the right lighting,
they can do wonders. Even a simple room can be turned over to look classy or
cozy if you keep certain rules in mind.
Never overdo anything. If you have decided to go with a
certain color, keep it simple. Don’t use a similar color everywhere. Using the
same color in every room becomes monotonous and repetitive for the eyes. Use a
color chart which will give you a range of color combinations to choose from.
Try colors which set the right mood and would lift you up when you feel low.
Have decor which suits your room. A useful tip is to keep it
minimal and pay more attention to storage spaces. Minimal furniture means less
maintenance and more moving space. Always have enough space in the room so that
the room seems uncluttered. An uncluttered room is more comfortable. Keep your
home well furnished.
